The Legend Series: Sol Angeles & Kosh from SeaVees

Kosh (the legend) and Myers (the-legend-in-the-making) engaged in “a chess match of styles” to create their unique view of California. Kosh dusted off his doodles he did for the Hotel California album from 1976. That became the font of choice. Starting with a small group of elements on a page in photoshop, they passed the art back and forth, changing the piece with each turn. They chose 50 as a numeric rule (to celebrate SeaVees 50th) and each artist could modify the work 25 times.

The album is printed on a limited edition run of t-shirts for SeaVees, showcasing their remarkable collaboration.
